Clinical Practice II

This module provides students with hands-on experience with a clinical placement

Module Description

This module is intended to provide students with hands-on experience as part of their studies. It is designed to complement students' knowledge of holistic counselling and psychotherapy with practical experience in a professional environment.

In order to fulfil the requirements of this module students must undertake a 40-hour clinical placement over two years, working under supervision to complete an assigned research project. While undertaking this project students are expected to consider the social, ethical and legal issues surrounding their project and clinical work, using the principles, tools and techniques mastered in Clinical Practice I.
