Governance

The Governance Board is the corporate governing body as set out in the Constitution. The Board is formally constituted with specific terms of reference and has a majority of experienced independent directors.

The Executive Committee is a standing sub-committee of the corporate governing body, consisting of a membership including senior management to oversee the operations of the organisation.

The Academic Board is responsible for competent academic governance and leadership of Metavision Institute and ensures that its academic objectives are achieved. The Board is comprised of senior academic staff from other higher education institutions, representatives from industry and professional associations, members of the Institute’s academic teaching staff, and an alumni representative.

The Committee is responsible for oversight of the development of new courses and regularly reviewing existing courses, and for providing expert disciplinary advice on industry and discipline requirements.

The Committee is responsible for oversight of Metavision Institute’s higher education courses and teaching and learning activities, to ensure their quality and alignment with the academic policy framework.
