Students
Student Forum
Students are encouraged to share information, experiences and findings in our publically accessible forums. Students can express themselves on range of issues from student life, bowral and accomodation to personal experiences, techniques and things that they have found helpful, enlightening or challenging in the course of their study. The forums are moderated by senior students and teachers who also conribute from time to time. You can view the Metavision Forums here
Alumni
Past students of the Metavision Institute, the Metavision Alumni, form part of the Community of Practice of the Institute. Headed by the Director, Christina Nielsen, the Community of Practice comprises the Metavision Institute students, the teaching staff and the past students, or alumni.
The Alumni have expressed a need to stay in touch, and have listed their reasons:
- To network
- For continued professional development
- For the coming toether of subgroups, similar to what happens in the Institute training courses
- As a support groups.
- To engage in esoteric workshops
- To meet the needs of ex-students: offering advice, guidance and support as people use what has been learnt at the Institute
- To be dynamic and to grow
- To form a Community of Practice.
The Alumni will be run by alumni - bringing students and ex-students together in meetings every now and then.
