This course gives a solid training in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy to enrich and augment any appropriate prior training and life experience. The orientation has a particuliar focus on soulful holistic process oriented methods in both the learning environment, and in skills development.It also has a sound spiritual foundation without dogma.

Skills and Metaskills are brought with an accompanying self-development process.The course aims to improve individual insights and communication skills to enhance relationships in both the workplace and personal life.

It embraces a grounded working knowledge of the physical, psychological and spiritual aspects of the human being, integrating the subtle energies both within and outside the body.

The course is in the process of applying for accreditation with both PACFA and the Department of Higher Education. The fast changing nature of the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy at the moment has encouraged the Institute to upgrade the previously offered Diploma to a Post Graduate Diploma and to upgrade our accreditation accordingly.

The Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy post graduate training is for those who:

• are health professionals and human services providers such as doctors, complementary medical therapists, nurses, teachers, alllied health professionals, ambulance officers, lawyers and others who are interacting with the public daily and wish to improve their interpersonal skills and upgrade qualifications.
• want to expand and deepen their communication skills to enhance their current professional and personal life.
• wish to embark on a career in counseling and/or Psychoptherapy
• seek a high level of skills which are effective in stimulating and supporting transformative change and community building.
• seek an integrated holistic understanding of the human condition, intimacy and meaning in life.
• are mature age students or young people (over 25) seeking to gain personal development, transformative knowledge and spiritual awareness.
• have completed a course of study and yearn for greater illumination.

Further Information

This professional training course is held at the Metavision Institute, Bowral, NSW, just over an hour south of Sydney. The course is offered as a series of Intensives and distance education components so it is perfect for people from all over the country as weekly attendance is not required.
