Welcome to the Metavision Institute.

Today, people want a more holistic approach to their wellbeing. If a person has a crisis, they know it’s not just a problem that’s affecting their mind, but one that involves their heart, body, soul and spirit.

Our graduate practitioners are educated and trained to address a growing need - people want to understand themselves and heal on all levels. The human values of connection, communication, imagination and inspiration are central to our work.

Students at the Metavision Institute

The Metavision Institute runs two signature courses - a post-graduate Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy Course - Post-Graduate Professional Training (PACFA Accredited) and a Counselling and Communication Skills Certificate. Both courses give participants a deep understanding of a holistic approach to psychology. Students develop the awareness and skills to perceive the unfolding process in a person’s life, and accompany them as they discover their own wisdom.

The unique training we provide has evolved out of self-reflective enquiry distilled from many years of successful clinical experience. What sets our approach apart is our unifying holistic philosophy that brings together Process Oriented Psychology, studies in consciousness, the Spiritual Science of Rudolf Steiner, and aspects of Chinese Medicine.

So we have a strong philosophical foundation that guides the application of counselling and psychotherapy skills. Our students say they are deeply inspired by the depth and breadth of their learning, their own personal growth, and the strength of the skills they learn to offer humanity.

Once again, drawing on the same holistic philosophy, we also offer short courses for personal and professional development. They run at different times throughout the year and include Leadership and Group Facilitation, Holistic Coaching, Eco Medicine, Inner Development and Life Journeys. For an overview of our courses please see our courses page.

We offer a supportive and nurturing learning environment. Courses can be taken using e-learning and distance education methods, together with intensives at our campus in Bowral, a township central to the popular tourist destination and wine region of the Southern Highlands.

Please explore our website. You will find information on our courses, teachers and facilities. If you have any questions, please let us know by going to our enquiries page or phone us during office hours.

Warmly,

Christina Nielsen, Founder, The Metavision Institute.
